The Department holds on-line examinations in Listening & Speaking Skills every even semester for all I & II year undergraduate students of General English with technical support from Globerina.
There are two English Language Laboratories with software . The Department has compiled a set of video lessons and PPTs in English Grammar for use in the e-classroom.
Films on relevant study texts like Othello, Pygmalion, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice  To Sir, With Love etc. are screened to provide wider understanding and enliven teaching.

A Report of the Activities of the English Literary Club-  SPARK

The English Literary Club –SPARK  conducted its activities “Ingenious Minds at Work” on 12th September,2016 in the college auditorium. Members of the club and a few more girls, around ,180 participated in various language activities/games. There were 5 rounds in which students were stimulated to weave their thoughts into stories based on clues, vocabulary building, solving jumbling words and words in mirror images etc. All students took an enthusiastic role in attempting to improve their language skills.
