UNISERVITATE

The UNISERVITATE Programme is dedicated to fostering systemic transformation within Catholic Higher Education Institutions (CHEIs) by institutionalizing Service-Learning (SL) as a strategic approach to fulfilling their mission of providing integral education. Through this initiative, the programme aims to cultivate agents of social change who are equipped to critically engage with societal challenges and contribute to the creation of a more just and equitable world, in alignment with the social teachings of the Church.

The UNISERVITATE Support Programme offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Institutionalize Service-Learning as a pedagogical framework that enables CHEIs to integrate their social outreach with their spiritual identity and academic pursuits.
  • Promote innovative models of university engagement, where students, faculty, and the broader academic community can effectively unite intellectual inquiry, ethical reflection, and practical action—embodying the integration of head, heart, and hands.
  • Join a global network committed to advancing educational and scientific excellence while fostering meaningful social impact.

Participants in the UNISERVITATE Programme will benefit from scholarships for specialized courses, access to a comprehensive content platform, opportunities to engage in international conferences, and technical and financial support. This comprehensive assistance will be provided over a minimum period of 24 months (four academic semesters) to selected institutions worldwide.

Maris Stella College takes great pride in being a part of this esteemed international organization, which is at the forefront of promoting the institutionalization of Service-Learning and Solidarity Learning on a global scale.
