The project entitle, “Design and Development of Open Educational Resources for Higher Education” serves as one stop portal for freely available scholarly and peer reviewed e-journals, web resources like e-books, portals, directories/gateways in Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities and Management.This site also provides information about OpenCourseWare and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) as there is a demand from user community for these resources.

Maris Stella College was founded in 1962 under the direction of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary with the primary objective of providing Higher Education for women in Krishna District, A.P. The college is an autonomous institution equipped with excellent infrastructure. The college library, a rich source of information, is enriched with a collection of more than 90,000 books, many National and International journals and web resources to cater to the information needs of students and staff. The library is automated, digitized and has been providing many services like OPAC, net browsing and access to e-resources for the users. The main purpose of this project is to enable the user community to browse open access, full text resources of all subjects in Higher Education.
